This stunning new offering from the Welcome to the Museum series guides readers around the world's oceans, from sandy shorelines to the darkest depths. Learn about the ocean's most fascinating animals, including giant whale sharks, tiny tropical fish, and majestic manatees, among many others. With expert text by marine biologist Loveday Trinick and stunning illustrations by Teagan White, travel the world from frozen Arctic seas to shimmering coral reefs, and learn why it is so important that we protect our oceans.
Loveday Trinick is a marine biologist with the Ocean Conservation Trust. Based within the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, England, she teaches children of all ages about the importance of the ocean; she believes seeing children inspired by animals and creating connections to the marine environment is the best way to help conserve our oceans for future generations. She lives in England. Teagan White is an artist and illustrator who likes to celebrate the intricate beauty of the natural world through their depictions of flora and fauna. Their work is influenced by years of living in the Midwest and Great Lakes region, traveling by bicycle, adventuring in the woods, and volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation. They live in the Pacific Northwest.
