Only Child, Paperback

Frank O'Connor was a shy child from a Cork slum who somehow became aware that there was something grander beyond his life and the lives around him.

"Frank O'Connor's early life of Michael O'Donovan belongs with the best of its kind. It is that of a man who has made his life important to others simply because he has written about it with art." -- Times Literary Supplement
