Fresh out of high school, Ken served his part in the military. Afterwards, with his whole life ahead of him, he first owned a bakery. He felt he needed more for his life. Police officers frequented his business, and he became their friend. Inspired by the various ways that a police person serves the community, Ken developed a strong desire to be a part of that endeavor.
