The Story Behind the Story...

Brandon Hale was deployed overseas in 2015.

As the days and weeks went by, he had trouble maintaining his bond with his young son. The boy had lost interest in talking on the phone...

One day Brandon decided to try something new.

This time, when he called home, he told his son a story.

A story about Prince Martin.

And the boy was enchanted.

From then on, when Brandon could call home, his son begged him to tell a Prince Martin story.

Upon returning home from deployment, Brandon's wife encouraged him to turn his Prince Martin tales into children's books.

The rest is history...
