O. G. Fillmore Slim was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1934. He has been featured in several documentaries, including Ghetto Physics and the Hughes Brothers' blockbuster documentary, American Pimp. After thirty years as the most successful gentleman mack of all time and five years in prison, Slim emerges determined to become a professional blues musician. Since then, he has released eight critically acclaimed albums, won various blues music awards, and has been featured in many national magazines: Living Blues, Time, Blues Player, and more. He has toured both nationally and internationally with a variety of famous blues, R & B, soul, rock, hip-hop, and jazz artists. Famous rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Too Short, and Frank Stickemz pay homage to him in their songs.

Shoestring Sue is a musician, cartoonist, and comedy songwriter. Her work has been featured in an array of publications, and she has released four records of original comedy music. She has also been a guest on national broadcast radio. Additionally, she currently runs a special effects photography company with her husband.
