Edgar Cayce is known world-wide as a psychic and medical intuitive who gave over 14,000 readings between 1901 and 1944. He was born March 18, 1877 on a farm near Hopkinsville KY, and died January 3, 1945 at the age of 67 in Virginia Beach, VA. Edgar was a very unusual child who could talk with invisible playmates, flowers, trees, animals, birds and the Fairy Realm. At a young age Edgar was able to see fairies. "Edgar Cayce's Beloved Fairy Garden" gives us insight into Edgar's personal life and some of his adventures tending his gardens. The book shows us both the joy and the struggles that he encountered. He loved flowers and had several flower and vegetable gardens during his lifetime. "Edgar Cayce's Beloved Fairy Garden" shows us a glimpse of the man who could see, feel and believed in God's presence in all living things. Life was not always an easy journey as Edgar moved his homestead, each time having to start over with his garden. The beach elements were not always kind, but Edgar persevered, nurturing his garden and his soul. The book shows us both the joy and the struggles that he encountered and his oneness with God through nature.
Sandra Duggan was born November 13, 1934 in Pelham, NY and died February 3, 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cornell University - New York Hospital School of Nursing in 1957 and became a registered nurse. She married Joseph Duggan and they moved to Connecticut where they raised two children. Their journey led them to Virginia Beach, Virginia and Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.). From 1980-1982 Sandra was the supervisor of the A.R.E. Therapy Department. In 1989 Sandra and Joe co-authored "Edgar Cayce's Massage, Hydrotherapy & Healing Oils". In addition to having a successful private practice for colon therapy, she was a senior instructor at the Cayce-Reilly School of Massage, a part of the A.R.E. She developed and taught the Colon Therapy program and the Cayce Remedies and Body Mind Spirit course. In 1995 she wrote "Edgar Cayce's Guide to Colon Care". Sandra loved organic gardening and always managed to have an organic garden despite moving several times during her lifetime. She believed in personal responsibility for staying healthy and never hesitated to share her findings with those individuals she met.
