If you are looking for hope and practical Biblical answers that will empower you to minister healing to those afflicted with birth defects, then this is the book is for you This book is not written for the unbeliever, naysayers, and critics. This book is written for the parents who have a child diagnosed with birth defect and know that God offers the hope of healing and need encouragement for their faith. Genetic birth defects such as down syndrome are by medical definition a disease and Jesus heals diseases. This book is a solid reminder to each of us who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ that Jesus is who he said he is. Now He lives inside of those who truly believe in Him to do His same mighty works. This is not just about healing birth defects. It's about rediscovering who you truly are, Christian, now that you've been born again. The Word of God says, "But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him." Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." When the church realizes that she is not without power against birth defects, she will arise out of her subdued apathy. It starts by believing the gospel above your experience and above your circumstances. In addition to solid Biblical teaching, this book is filled with testimonies from parents from around the world with whom were are personally in contact who have discovered these truths and have begun to act on them. Yet they are only a glimpse of the testimonies from parents who are ministering healing to their own children and each other's children diagnosed with birth defects. This book is merely "first fruits," evidence of a much greater harvest that is ripe and still to come. God is raising up a worldwide army that is rallying together for a simple reason- that the Lamb of God receive the reward for which He suffered at the whipping post in the lives of every person, especially those who were born with birth defects. An avalanche of miracles is beginning to rumble through the earth as children diagnosed with down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other birth defects are being healed before our eyes. We want to give parents and grandparents the book that we wish someone would have given to us the moment our child was born diagnosed with a birth defect. We want the church to wake up and realize that what Jesus' suffering at the whipping post applies to children born with defect. We have written this book to inspire, challenge, and empower you to see your child healed through the power, love, and authority of Jesus Christ. This book represents the first fruits of real, present day experiences of divine healing of birth defects. We offer it as an encouragement to those who are courageous enough to believe that Jesus Christ wants to work through you to free the captives and to liberate those oppressed with birth defects.
