‘Listen to me, Misty. You’re in danger . . .’

These are the last words of stabbed private investigator Sylvester Green – before he is whisked away by ambulance from Soho’s Lady’s Bar.

Lady’s Bar’s glamorous owner, drag queen Misty Divine, hears in his words both a warning and a puzzle. Perhaps that’s why she’s less than candid with the police.

Because Misty has Sylvester’s notebook, which hints that she’s connected to the case he wanted to solve – the disappearance of Jeremy Edmunds.

But who is Jeremy? And will whoever hurt Sylvester come for Misty next?

With danger at her heels, Misty is determined to follow Sylvester’s clues and help bring Jeremy home.

But the deeper she digs, the more she realises that the link between her and whatever Jeremy was caught up in threatens to destroy everything she holds dear – including her beloved Lady’s Bar.

Can Misty find Jeremy, save Lady’s Bar, and solve the case? Or will the next disappearing act be her own…

'All hail Misty Divine! How brilliant to have a proud, unapologetic voice like Misty's to speak out for the LGBT community. Plus - it's a cracking good detective story; as salty and humorous and compelling as the very best drag acts...a rollercoaster read' J.M. HALL
