Skin and Sun is a book of poems directed at healing and reclaiming the self. Through an exploration of womanhood, love, space, and the conversation between the three, Key Ballah takes you on a journey through her processes of healing trauma and returning to what she calls "the self."

About the Author:

Key Ballah is a writer born and raised in The Greater Toronto Area. She is the daughter of an Immigrant father and a Canadian mother. She studied Women's and Gender Studies at both Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and York University in Toronto, Ontario. She is also the Author of a collection of poems entitled "Preparing My Daughter For Rain' and has been known to produce work that focuses on her experiences navigating womanhood.
