The Little Ninja: Go Ninja Go, Paperback

At a time when children are spending more time playing video games and less time playing outside, Gil wants to inspire them to be healthy and active, and to pursue their dreams. As a top athlete on the popular TV show, American Ninja Warrior, Gil saw the opportunity to combine his ninja adventures into an exciting read for kids. Gil says, "I put my core values and personal stories into the book and, as a Christian, I love to use my platform to build others up. Kids will be able to relate to this book because, they love obstacles and adventures I believe kids from all sports and backgrounds will be entertained and encouraged." Daniel has worked with kids most of his life, and wanted to reach as many as possible to leave a positive impact on them.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Daniel Gil has always been a fun-loving adventurer. As the second oldest in a family of five kids who were all home-schooled, he was a kid who loved playing outside, climbing trees and participating in team sports. In high school he focused his attention on new passions such as singing, dancing, and the performing arts. During that time, he also began leading worship at his home church, Dwelling Place Church. After high school, he attended All Nations School of Ministry and obtained a degree in Applied Ministerial Studies. In 2013 he began working at Iron Sports Gym where he is a coach and personal trainer. It is also where he trains for American Ninja Warrior. In 2015, his rookie year on American Ninja Warrior, he made it to the National Finals in Las Vegas. He was also selected to compete in the American Ninja Warrior All-Stars Special and was chosen to be a team captain on the first season of Team Ninja Warrior. This recognition and success has presented him with new opportunities to travel and present. In 2016, he competed on Season 8 of American Ninja Warrior and was one of only two competitors to beat 'Stage 2' in the National Finals. Currently, he is traveling, speaking, and training for Season 10 of American Ninja Warrior. Daniel has worked with kids his entire life and loves finding new ways to encourage and inspire them. For a long time, he dreamed of writing a children's book, and he is happy to have worked on this project with his wife, Abigail Gil. Together, they proudly present this first book to you.
