Aliki Kafetzopoulou was a teacher and the author of numerous inspirational novels for young Christians. As a young woman, she renounced her family's wealth for a life of chastity and service to others through the Greek Orthodox lay sisterhood "Elpis" ("Hope") in Athens, Greece, where she lived until her blessed repose in February of 2005 at the age of 81.
