About author(s):Rick Nason, PhD, CFA, is an associate professor of finance at Dalhousie University in Halifax Canada as well as a consultant on finance, risk management and applied complexity science. A popular conference speaker, he has developed programs for a range of organizations from small for-profit companies to international non-profit organizations. He has an MBA and PhD from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
