About the author

Authors Biography Osalina Berman M. H. first began gathering herbs and wild berries at 5 years old in 1958 and studied Nutrition, Herbs, Yoga and Tai Chi at a Montessori School at 15 years old. She received a massage license in 1979 and in 1981 a degree from the Emerson College of Herbology as a Master Herbalist. She studied Holistic Health in many fields from numerous teachers from all over the world. From 1974 - 1976 Osalina lived in a cave almost entirely off wild herbs and fruits and sprouts in a wilderness Valley in Kauai Hawaii. Osalina has had a practice as a Holistic Health practitioner for over 30 years and has two daughters and lives in Tucson Arizona. This Book is a series of 15 Books on the Alchemy of Foods and Herbs and a continuation of "The Legend of the Beet Brothers" as they travel the world interviewing over 500 Trees and Plants friends teaching of their many uses.
