The Rose of Versailles Volume 3, Hardcover

War is brewing. Oscar Fran ois de Jarjeyes has never conformed to the image of an ideal French noblewoman. While the people of Paris are being bankrupted by the nobles' extravagant spending, Oscar demotes herself to the French Guard, and mingles with revolutionary thinkers and commoners. She finds herself broken by failed love and torn between her loyalties to Queen Marie Antoinette and to the people of France. This deluxe hardcover volume contains chapters 45-66 of Riyoko Ikeda's historical fiction masterwork.
